Yet it often happens that a request with in3 is not approved at the last moment. And this is exactly where conversion is lost. That\u2019s why in3 now introduces <strong>Alternative Offering<\/strong>, a smart way to let customers pay safely even when payment in three installments is not possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Alternative Offering?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Alternative Offering turns the situation around. If a customer doesn\u2019t pass the in3 check, the process no longer stops. In the same screen, a new option appears: complete the full payment immediately via <strong>iDEAL<\/strong>. The customer does not need to open a new page and remains in the same payment flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why is in3 introducing this?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The goal is clear: <strong>fewer drop-offs and higher conversion<\/strong>. A customer who would otherwise leave can now complete the purchase. Additionally, the customer builds a positive payment history with in3, increasing the likelihood that they will be able to pay in installments in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does Alternative Offering work technically?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The best part: you don\u2019t need to make any changes yourself. The functionality runs entirely on in3\u2019s existing technology. The customer stays within the same screen and completes the payment using the familiar iDEAL flow, safely and quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does this mean for your conversion?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You lose fewer orders and help customers move forward. With immediate payment, a positive history is created with in3, allowing customers to fall within their spending limit later. This increases the likelihood that they will return to shop with you again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are there any additional costs?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">No. Transactions via Alternative Offering are subject to <strong>the same rates<\/strong> as a regular in3 payment. It\u2019s simply an additional safety net for orders that would otherwise not have gone through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When will this be activated?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">in3 will automatically activate Alternative Offering on <strong>November 26, 2025<\/strong>. You don\u2019t need to involve developers or change any settings\u2014the feature will be ready to use automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What changes in the merchant terms?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The terms have been updated. The key changes:<\/p>\n\n\n      <div class=\"accordion-item\">\n      <div class=\"accordion-item__head\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-item__title\">Settlement of outstanding debt<\/div>\n        <span><\/span>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"accordion-item__body\">\n        <p>Does a customer have an outstanding debt with iDEAL in3? Then a new purchase may be blocked. In case of cancellation, in3 may offset the paid first installment against the outstanding debt.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n      <div class=\"accordion-item\">\n      <div class=\"accordion-item__head\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-item__title\">Alternative Offering<\/div>\n        <span><\/span>\n      <\/div>\n      <div class=\"accordion-item__body\">\n        <p>If a customer is not approved for payment in three installments, in3 may offer a direct payment.
