Where iDEAL was primarily strong nationally, Wero is designed for cross-border use<\/strong>. Payments are made directly from bank to bank, without intermediaries such as credit card companies. This makes the process faster, safer, and more transparent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For users, the convenience hardly changes. You pay through your own banking environment, on mobile or desktop, but now with a system that works across all of Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is happening with iDEAL?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

iDEAL is not disappearing overnight. The system is being gradually integrated<\/strong> into Wero. Banks and payment providers are guiding this transition step by step. The main reason is scale. iDEAL is technically robust but limited to the Netherlands<\/strong>.
